We're here to serve you! Why Brush? Because we are progressive, innovative and resourceful. The Brush Logo depicts the diversification of our evolving, progressive community--the food and energy hub of the plains. Once a cattle town, we still recognize the value of our Ag base with crops such as sugar beets, corn, wheat, and beans. We have two electricity generating plants, illustrated by the lightning bolt), light manufacturing and a total health care industry that supports two nursing homes, a hospital, a correctional facility and other varying degrees of care for the elderly and disabled. The spokes on the wagon wheel symbolize our many transportation corridors: the BNSF, Amtrak and UP/SP Railroad; Interstate 76; US Hwy 6 and 34: and State Hwy 71, linking Brush to US 287 and I-70.
