2011 Brush Rodeo Queen Morgan Norris

The 2011 Brsh Rodeo Queen is sixteen year old Morgan Norris, from Weldona, Colorado. She lives in Weldona with her parents Jeff & Helen Norris on a 12,000 acre ranch raising beef cattle and farming. Morgan loves to be outside and has six horses, three dogs and many cats on the ranch.

Morgan's horse Owie is her partner in everything that she does, taking very good care of her at every rodeo they travel to together. She mentioned they have been together a long time, she herself naming him when she was two years old by shouting 'owie' at a cut he had on his leg.

Next year she will be a Junior at Weldon Valley High School while at the same time taking med prep courses at Morgan Community College. She plans on being a neo-natal intensive care unit Nurse after college. She stays busy all year long by playing volleyball, basketball and track at WVHS. She also plays club volleyball for the Morgan County X-Statics. Recently she was accepted into the National Honor Society at her school and will be taking a trip to Puerto Rico this summer as a member of the International Club.

Morgan is loving her reign as the 2011 Brush Rodeo Queen, especially because she is representing the best sport, Rodeo. She hopes everyone comes to celebrate the Fourth of July the 'Cowboy Way' at the Brush Rodeo!

2011 Brush Rodeo Lady-in-Waiting Rachael McCracken

Rachael is the daughter of David & Bonnie McCracken of Fort Morgan, CO and is a sophomore at Weldon Valley High School. She is active in volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and loves the color green.
