Central Platoon School

The Brush Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is requesting proposals for the acquisition, renovation, and redevelopment of a most noteworthy and remarkable Foundation-owned historic building: Central Platoon School. This City of Brush mainstay, sitting on a city block sized parcel, was built in 1928 and is located at 411 Clayton St. On the National Register of Historic Places and Colorado's Most Endangered Places, the Italian Renaissance architecture inspired building sits as an anchor to the Colorado Main Street Graduate Community that is the City of Brush downtown. The historic school is located within walking distance of many amenities including a library, churches, as well as shops and restaurants. This building offers a truly unique opportunity for a high-quality redevelopment that can restore this once proudly standing school back into the fabric of the community.
