Seasonal positions in the Parks and Cemetery departments
Starting wage is 12.32/hr, 40hrs/week for the spring and summer seasons. 

The duties of these positions include, but are not limited to: custodial, painting and maintenance of facilities; mowing and trimming lawns; planting trees, shrubs and flowers and operating light equipment. Golf Course Seasonal Grounds Maintenance
$12.32/hr.

Police Officer

A Brush Police Officer:  protects the lives, safety, and property of individuals by enforcing ordinances, statutes, and laws; patrols within corporate limits to deter illegal activity and to protect and preserve the safety and security of individuals, property, buildings, and neighborhoods; completes reports in a clear and accurate manner; responds to dispatch calls and investigates citizen complaints and reported breaches of the peace; prepares summons necessary to charge individuals with violations of ordinances and statutes; makes arrests and takes suspects into custody including reading of rights, interrogation, search, booking, and transport of individuals to holding and jailing facilities; appears in court and other hearings to offer testimony; attends and participates in assigned training sessions; inspects and maintains equipment; follows Police Dept policies in addition to the City of Brush Personnel Policies; and performs other duties as assigned.

$45,300.00 - $65,700 / yr.  plus excellent benefits and FPPA retirement plan

Must be POST Certified in either Colorado or acceptable out of state equivalent.

Wait Staff / Bartender
Seasonal, part time
$9.32/hr. plus tips

Greets, waits on, and serves customers food and beverages; cleans, stocks, rotates stock, and restocks workstations and coolers; completes preparatory side work; responsible for enforcing and complying with all applicable liquor laws; cleans areas accessible by customers promptly; assists in set up and clean up the bar, dining room, and decks prior to and following events; performs general cleaning of facilities as assigned; accepts and handles cash receipts accurately; responsible for accurately and completely balancing the register; collects, washes, and puts away dishes as instructed; and assists with inventory as assigned.

Minimum of 21 years of age and at least 3 years of customer service preferred. Must obtain TIPS Alcohol Certification within 3 months of hire (City will provide the training).
