CITY OF BRUSH!
THE COURSE AT PETTEYS PARK
HOLE 9 POND IMPROVEMENTS
Sealed bids for the Course at Petteys Park Hole 9 Pond Improvements will be received by the OWNER, City of Brush! located at 600 Edison Street Brush, Colorado 80723 until 9:00 AM (before 9:01 AM), local time, February 22, 2021, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location.
The Contract Documents consisting of a Project Manual and Drawings may be obtained by electronic documents on-line on and after 8:00 P.M., Thursday February 4, 2021. Complete electronic Project Plans,
Project Specifications, and Bid Proposal Packet are available from the Western Engineering Consultants, Inc. LLC sharefile link https://westerneci.sharefile.com/d-sc7e6a1ad1c6c4df89062bada465eb2f8 . In addition, the Drawings and Project Manual may be examined at the following locations: the office of the consulting engineer, Western Engineering Consultants, Inc. LLC, and through the City of Brush!.
The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents. A 5% Bid Bond will be required.
Work to be performed generally includes: strip and stockpile of existing topsoil; cut and stockpile pond expansion; installation of pond liner. Included is all site work, erosion control, traffic control, construction surveying, installation, and incidental work required to complete the Work as specified on the Drawings. The work includes a base bid and an add alternate (Schedule A). A project schedule is required with the Bid.
Qualifications to the Bidder should include: experience with grading and clay liner compaction, ability to obtain necessary permits for construction, ability to post performance and payment bonds, and ability to deliver the work in conformance with specifications within the contract time.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is set for 10:00 AM, February 16, 2021 at 600 Edison Street Brush, CO 80723. Bid Questions will be taken up until 5:00pm February 18, 2021 and Responses to Bid Questions will be provided by 2pm February 19, 2021.
Prospective Bidders may visit the site between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays. The public works director, Dale Colerick, may be reached at 970-842-5001 24 hours in advance; however, technical
questions must be directed to the Engineer, Western Engineering Consultants, at (720) 685-9951 (Chadwin F. Cox, PE).
Basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible Bid as determined by the OWNER. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful BIDDER, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to waive any technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the OWNER may be served.
