Seal Coat Street Closures for street preservation planned for 8/5-8/10

Vance Brothers, Inc. is under contract with your local government to resurface your street with a process called Slurry Seal. Weather permitting, between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm, the day of 8/2/2019, we will be resurfacing your street. When "No Parking" signs are placed on your street, please remove vehicles and place in your driveway or nearest street where "No Parking" signs are not visible. Please arrange to keep your vehicles off of your street. Vehicles left of the street will be towed around the corner at no expense. Your car may be left in the driveway if it will not be in use this day. We also request that all watering devices and sprinklers be turned off. Slurry Seal is a preventative process that applies a mixture of sand and emulsion to structurally sound streets.

Step 1: The cleaning of the existing asphalt pavement by means of a pickup sweeper or by flushing the surface with water.

Step 2: Wait for 4 hours for water to evaporate which allows the new SLURRY SEAL surface to cure then open barricades to traffic.
