Each year, July 2-4, Brush is home to the one of the most exciting rodeos you'll find anywhere. Three days full of all the rodeo action you could hope for, including bronc riding, barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, Mutton Bustin', a free BBQ, Little Princess rides, our 4th of July parade, and fireworks to close it all out.

Due to blizzard, race is rescheduled for March 23rd.

On March 23rd, 2019 will be our 14th annual St. Patrick's Day 5k Walk/Run. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Jaycee Building. Runners and walkers will begin at 9:00 a.m., and there will be a youth fun run at 10:00 a.m. We will have awards, music, corned beef & cabbage, as well as green beer.

The fee for the race is $30 is pre-registered, $35 the day of, and $20 for the youth fun run.

The City will be hosting the 37th annual Brush! Rush! 5k run/walk on Saturday, June 22nd at Doty Pond. There will be a raffle, music, and a one-mile Fun Run for children ages 12 and under. Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Medals and plaques will be given to the top finishers in each group. The fee for the race is $30 for pre-registered participants and $35 the day of the race. The Fun Run is $20. For those who register a group of 10 or more the fee will be $20 per person. The Fun Run will begin at 7:30 am this year with the Race beginning at 8:00am. Awards to follow the races.

Volksmarch: German, meaning "people's march." A 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles) community fitness walk we do each year before our annual Oktoberfest in downtown Brush! We will begin at the northwest corner of East Morgan County Library, and finish near the festival. We will have giveaways and prizes in addition to the sponsors and refreshments along the way. For fun, you can even dress in your best authentic German attire and come join with us!

Join the Brush Parks and Recreation Department for the biggest week of the summer! Starting July 8th and running through July 14th, the City of Brush! will be hosting a variety of activities for everyone of ALL ages to participate in. Please come and join the fun!!

  • Thursday, July 11 - Horseshoe Tournament & Mud Volleyball Tournament at VFW Park, Music in the Park
  • Friday, July 12 - Movie Night at Sunset Baseball Field
  • Sunday, July 14 - Lawn Volleyball Tourney @ J/N Softball Fields

Resolution Run
Join us for our 4th annual New Year's Eve Resolution "Run". Will begin at 10pm with chili and cinnamon roll dinner and a champagne toast at midnight. Must be 21 to participate.
Community Trips
Each year we make wonderful trips to great destinations available to the community. Over the past few years we have had trips to exciting destinations including New York City, Branson, New Orleans, and Washington D.C.
